From the soft caress of Cashmere to the lustrous sheen of Silk, and the sumptuous warmth of Ultrafine Merino Wool, the collection boasts a decadent array of textures and fibers. Delight in British Bluefaced Leicester, revel in the crispness of Cotton and Linen, or opt for the classic comfort of Superwash Merino with Nylon for socks.
Each skein is meticulously hand-dyed in the sunshine-soaked haven of Sarasota, FL, where founder, Catherine “Cat” Buchmueller, draws inspiration from the coastal beauty of Southwest Florida. Named after local beaches, keys, and bays, the yarns reflect the essence of this picturesque region.

What Our Customers Are Saying
Siesta is an 80/10/10 blend of Merino, Cashmere and Nylon. It is springy and soft with a great twist. It doesn’t split at all. The colors are gorgeous on it and it’s a real delight to knit with.
I find KittyBea yarns irresistable to the touch and east to work with. My favorite is the Largo blend of Alpaca, Linen and Silk for Florida’s year-round summer.
Inspired colorways and blends are what I think of with KittyBea. I keep coming back to explore her patterns as well. They are perfect for the southern knit or crochet artist.
